It was good weather! My friends and I have a plan to go to the Windsor Castle. Thanks to the good weather, our trip to the Windsor Castle started with good atmosphere!
Because it was rainy yesterday, every persons looks happy playing sports game, walking along the way…Of course I like cloudy London but sunny weather is the best!
本日は、友人と予定していたウィンザー城に行ってまいりました。良い天気に恵まれ、テンションが上がります！
昨日雨だったせいか、心なしか、スポーツをしている人や歩いている人たちの顔が明るく見えます。曇りのロンドンも好きですが、やはり晴れている日は格別です。
ウィンザー城を外から見たもの。荘厳且つ芸術的、歴史を感じさせる外観です。まるでどこかのおとぎ話に迷い込んだような雰囲気の中、お城の方向に進んでいきます。
Windsor itself looks nice. I feel relax. It has different atmosphere with London’s crowded place.
ウィンザーの街そのものも素敵です。週末の混みあったロンドンとは異なったのんびりした雰囲気を楽しみながら・・・

さて、入口へ！
There was long queue as I expect….but we could enter into the castle within around 15 min.
やはり長い列が出来ていますが・・・しかし回転が速く、15分ぐらい待ったら入れました。
I know some stories about the castle. Also, Disney Land in Tokyo has a castle. I like these and today I thought some story may be written referring this castle. We walked along the official walking course feeling deep history, literary atmosphere of Royal Family and good weather’s nice wind! Indeed, it is as if we was in some book!!
お城にまつわる話や、ディズニーランドのお城も入ったことがありますが、まるで、ウィンザー城を参考にしたのかと思うほど雰囲気が似ています。深い歴史と英国王室の格調高い雰囲気を感じながら、良い天気の中を歩くのは、最高です。そして本当に、どこかの物語に入り込んだようです！

Next, we walked in the State Apartments, Queen Mary’s Dolls’ House, Engine Court and Round Tower. These building was connected each other. It was wonderful. Especially, I liked doll house. During our walking, we have banned to take a picture. So we concentrated to see the exhibition.
These doll house may not for children but for everyone who is interested in medieval. It was so circumstantial and realistic. I love miniature very much and I thought it is the best doll house I had ever seen.
After walking in the Dolls’ House, I could entered into State Apartments. It was not to be able to be expressed. It was just…..wonderful!! Beautiful, absolutely gorgeous, elegant and I could feel long history of the UK.
（写真が禁止されていたので写真はありませんが）いよいよ次はドールハウス、ステートアパートメント、エンジンコートとラウンドタワー巡りです。この４つの建物の順路は繋がっており、同時に中を見ることが可能です。特にドールハウスがとても素敵でした。
歴史の１ページを保存しようとしたかのようなドールハウス。小型の模型のようなものが好きな私ですが、今まで見た中で一番繊細で、とても正確に家具などを再現している様子を見ることができました。
ドールハウスの後は、ステートアパートメントを巡りましたが、とても豪華かつ芸術的であり、百聞は一見に如かずという言葉をかみしめつつ、ゆったりと中を見ました。英国王室の歴史が凝縮されているような優雅な内観でした。

We also went to Eton College. These old and historical buildings and a smell of bonfire brought nostalgic atmosphere.
イートンにも行きました。古い街並みとほんの少しの焚火の匂いに、何となく故郷を思い出します。
Today, I could enjoy Sunday Roast at the nice pub.
今日もサンデーローストをパブでいただきました。
Christmas will come soon. So the Windsor was decorated with Christmas ornament.
クリスマスがもうすぐなためか、ウィンザーも、既にクリスマスの飾り付けがされていました。
When someone want to be relax, I recommend them to go to the Windsor. It has good atmosphere.
