最後に、ロンドン周辺で私が見つけた小さなクリスマスをご紹介します。
Walking around streets, having snacks, just watching news, I could find little Christmas.
ただ歩いているだけで、少しバーに立ち寄るだけで、そしてただニュースを見るだけで、クリスマスを感じることが出来ます。

This market is one of the most famous event. As you expect, it was very crowded. There were a lot of attractions like rolling coaster and haunted house. Sometimes we could find funny trial. For example, some men challenged to hang from a bar for 2 minutes. In addition to this, we could find cute Christmas ornaments, Christmas foods like ginger breads, chocolate coated apple, mulled wine, cotton candy (Is it Japanese sweet?), HARIBO, baked turkey and so on.こちらがとても有名なロンドン最大？のクリスマスマーケットであるウィンターワンダーランドですが、例によって、とても混んでいます。中には様々なジェットコースターやお化け屋敷等のアトラクション（何故かヒヤッとするものが多い。冬なのに・・・）がある他、筋肉番付っぽいイベントもやっていて、鉄棒にぶら下がって２分間キープ、等、挑戦者が次々とトライしていました。クリスマスっぽいものとしては、クリスマスオーナメントはもちろんのこと、生姜パン（ドイツのもの）、チョコレートでコーティングしたリンゴ、ホットワイン（マルドワインといいます。こちらもドイツのもの）、綿あめ（日本のものだったのでは・・・？由来が不明です。）、ハリボー（ドイツの美味しいグミです）が売られており、更にロースト七面鳥などもありました。

According to British style, we enjoyed Christmas cracker to find some small gifts from it. This roasted turkey was dressed by cranberry sauce. Some people stuffs meat or vegetables into the turkey and roasts.
イギリス流の楽しみ方であるクリスマスクラッカーをテーブルに置き、中から小さな王冠やクイズペーパー等のプレゼントが出てくるのを楽しみます。ローストした七面鳥にはクランベリーソースがかかっています。肉や野菜を詰めることもあるそうです。
This is typical Christmas pudding. In addition to these, Sherry, mince pie and game pie are also British Christmas foods.
これはクリスマスプディングです。さらに、イギリスでは、シェリー酒、ミンスパイ、ゲームパイ等のクリスマスっぽいお食事もあります。

Like these….TV program around Christmas was wonderful! “Santa Claus” (BBC), some “Christmas service” (on BBC, ITV), or some heart-warming Christmas animation were broadcasted. Watching TV in warm room is also attractive to enjoy a Christmas day.
写真のような感じのものが日々放映されます。クリスマスの時期は映画「サンタクロース」や教会のクリスマス礼拝の様子が放映されたり、更には心温まる番組もいくつかあるので、温かい部屋でテレビを見るのも、クリスマスを楽しむのにもってこいです。

In London, public transportation and almost all shops were closed in Christmas day. But alternatively, people can enjoy magnificent Christmas chorus in cathedrals, nice TV programs, beautiful decoration of many buildings and street, conversation with other persons, Christmas markets, and so on.
I like to explore London to seek small Christmas of UK.
本当に、イギリスではクリスマスが愛されています。
ロンドンのクリスマスは公共機関やお店は閉じてしまいますが、その代わり、教会での素敵なコーラスやクリスマスマーケット、それ以外のクリスマスデコレーションや、クリスマスにまつわるテレビ番組、それに人々との交流等、様々な楽しみ方が出来ます。
ロンドンの小さなクリスマス、是非とも、探してみてください。
